BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY HOMES IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY
BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY HOMES IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY
December 23, 2014 By Cathi Aycock
Holiday homes in Williamson County can be elegant, whimsical or rustic. Each style says Merry Christmas with garlands, bows and wreaths arranged just so, giving each house its own personality. Today, we showcase some of the prettiest homes decorated for Christmas to share with our StyleBlueprint friends and to wish you all a Merry Christmas!
Red and yellow holiday
This beautiful downtown Franklin home takes a cheery bow for Christmas by mixing traditional red with the creamy yellow of the clapboard house.
Christmas ornaments festoon a tree at this yellow house trimmed in red. With all the reds in the same color family (no burgundy- or blue-based reds in the mix) it keeps the focus on the home. The only elements used throughout the outdoor design are red bows, oversize red ornaments and fresh greens, but the overall impact is stunning.
Lanterns welcome visitors at the porch.

A trio of wreaths
Patriotic and jolly? This home keeps the American flag flying alongside a bevy of wreaths.

Sometimes you don’t need all the bells and whistles. Classic wreaths and red bows are stunning as the design theme at this home.

Grinchy green
We love this tart apple green as a holiday color. Sometimes called Grinch green, it is anything but Grinchy when used to create holiday magic at this downtown Franklin home.
Tart green ornaments and a Christmas tree on the front porch give this home holiday cheer.
Williamsburg inspiration
Taking a page out of Williamsburg holiday traditions, this stone house uses fresh fruit and greenery to create a pediment arch that evokes holiday splendor.

Pansies are the hardy souls that offer color to a holiday display in the South. This winding path flanked with flowers leads the eye toward the home, ready to greet you for Christmas.

Nature calls
This home is landscaped to perfection for winter interest. The homeowner adds a few holiday touches to create even more visual interest. Though the home looks like it could be nestled in the woods, it is just minutes from downtown Franklin.

The holiday elements used on this Franklin home are perfectly suited for a rustic feel. We love the simple candles in the window and vintage cooler by the door used as a planter.

Small stars
Sometimes the star of the show can be the smallest detail. This brownstone uses urns decorated for Christmas to offer maximum charm.
