Prepare for the perfect cozy fall backyard with these firepits
Cooler months are on their way, which means afternoons in the park, grassy picnics, and backyard BBQ’s will soon be put on hold until next year. That might sound daunting, but a lovely backyard shouldn’t be neglected for two seasons out of the year, just because of a little chill. Create the chance for new quality time, by installing a firepit and turning your backyard into a year round retreat!
1. Cozy Nighttime Nook
This firepit area was formerly a vegetable garden, but when it was decided that the space wasn’t sunny enough for growing veggies, a different healthy alternative was considered - a cozy backyard oasis, lined with shrubs and surrounded by beautiful blooms.
2. Firepit Patio
This lovely space was created using garden pavers and pea stone. With a new firepit patio, you can enjoy nighttime marshmallow roasts throughout the fall months. Fun outdoor furniture and flower planters add color and design, even when you’re not using your firepit!
3. Pavers and Fire Bowl
It took a half hour and less than $80 to create this stunning backyard firepit atop a concrete patio. Just stack up a circular wall of pavers and drop the firebowl snuggly in, for an enjoyable activity for family and friends right at home.
4. Fireside Flower Beds
While a firepit is an ideal evening hangout, that doesn't exclude it from being a great place to relax during the day as well. Thischic firepit has a charming addition of surrounding flower beds, making daytime lounging as aesthetically enjoyable as fireside star-gazing.
5. Fiery Romance
This mini patio and the low firepit in the middle were constructed from three different shades of roman pavers. The romantic wooden bench enables intimate fireside relaxation and is a perfect stay-at-home date location. Close and cozy, is there a better way to spend a chilly autumn evening?
6. Group Around the Fire
This firepit is ideal for parties and, with the right supplies, even barbecues and cook-outs! With this festive firepit, you’re ready for a jovial and well-fed group of friends to enjoy an evening of fun.
7. Rustic Stacked Stone Firepit
This is a great spot for family gatherings, with stacked stones creating a central firepit and tree trunks arranged for rustic seating. It’s so simple to create an enjoyable and campy atmosphere for the whole crew, without all the trouble of a samping trip.
8. Deck-side Firepit
This cozy paver patio and firepit was constructed right up against the deck of this house, so that the family can easily slip outside on a cool night and enjoy life by the fire. Even if everyone is busy with separate activities, spending time huddled up around the firepit is an opportunity to bring your family together.
9. Fairy-lit Forest
With limestone retaining wall blocks and some strung up lights, this woodsy backyard becomes a fairy-like forest firepit , ideal for family hangout time. Tree stumps and lawn chairs create great seating for relaxing by the flames and roasting some marshmallows.
